BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Returning midfielder Xander Martin has been selected by the CAA's coaches as an honorable mention on the conference's preseason team, the CAA announced Monday afternoon.
 
A senior from Wake Forest, Martin made 18 appearances last year with two starts. He scored his lone goal of the season in Campbell's 5-0 win over Methodist. He also recorded assists against Methodist, Radford, Wofford and VCU.
 
The Fighting Camels were picked to finish fourth in the south division, behind Elon, UNCW and Charleston. For the full preseason all-conference team and division polls, read the CAA press release.
