BUIES CREEK — Campbell men's soccer fell 2-1 to No. 23 UNCW in a CAA matchup Saturday night at Eakes Athletics Complex.
Campbell fell to 0-6 (0-3 CAA) on the season while UNCW improved to 5-1-1 (3-0 CAA).
UNCW scored just 31 seconds into the match as Benjamin Gooding found Cameron Keay in space to give the Seahawks an early 1-0 lead.
The Camels answered just over five minutes later to even things up 1-1.

UNCW controlled much of the pace with eight shots in the first to Campbell's two and continued that momentum in the second with 15 shots.
The Seahawks took the lead in the 76th minute of the match off a corner by Kieran Radke who found
Jake Roberts just off the back post for the header.
The Camels looked to create opportunities in the final 15 minutes but failed to convert.
Kaden Johnson made the start in goal collecting nine saves.
