JUPITER, FLA. – William Sunborn shot a 4-under par 68 and Campbell finished ninth in the team standings following Tuesday's final round of the FAU Invitational, hosted by Florida Atlantic University at The Bear's Club.
 
Sundborn (77-70-68—215) finished the event at 1-under par and tied for 28th on the 7300-yard Nicklaus course.  After starting the tournament 5 over, the sophomore was 6-under over his last 36 holes.
 
Host Florida Atlantic (282-276-279—837) won team honors at 27-under, one stroke better than runner-up North Florida (279-279-280-838).  Campbell concluded the tourney at 8-over par (293-284-295—872).
 
Uy Doan of Stetson was the individual medalist at 14-under (66-68-68—202).
 
Sundborn, who made seven birdies on the day, was the lone Camel in red numbers Tuesday.  Erik Johansson finished T41 (70-71-79—220), Joakim Larsen Tegner was T45 (72-72-74—221), Guillermo Ochoa T49 (77-71-74—222) and Benjamin Killingstad T58 (71-74-84—229).
 
The Camels finished the event third in the field in par-3 scoring (even) and combined to make 49 birdies, sixth in the event.  Sunborn, Johansson and Larsen Tegner all made 11 birdies.
 
Campbell returns to action Oct. 5-6 in the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational, hosted by West Virginia at Mystic Rock GC in Farmington, Pa.
