BUIES CREEK — Campbell women's soccer battled to a 1-1 draw against NC State on Sunday night at Eakes Athletics Complex.
The Camels move to 3-3-2 on the season while NC State moves to 7-0-1.
Campbell opened the scoring in the 12th minute to take an early 1-0 lead.

NC State would answer with a goal of its own in the 36th minute to level the score heading into the half. The Camels were outshot in the first half 14-4.
Both squads picked up offensive momentum in the second half with each having opportunities to score but the squads couldn't find the back of the net. The Wolfpack totaled nine just to the Camels three.
Anais van Doesburg was stellar in goal for the Camels tying her season-high eight saves on the night. Laney Heafer led the Camels with three shots with two on goal.
