tandem of Kyle Vejraska and Jonathan Rodriguez combined for 34
points and 16 rebounds and the Camels held the Cobras to 34 percent

18 points on 6-of-10 shooting, while adding seven rebounds and two
blocked shots. Rodriguez, a
pre-season Atlantic Sun all-conference selection, added 16 points,

(1-0), which held a 40-30 advantage on the boards. Junior transfer Julius Perkins had
five assists in his debut at point guard, while freshman Junard

five rebounds in the opening half, while Bishop added eight and
four boards.

to cut the gap below 20 on Mason Ambler's steal and dunk in
transition with 7:46 to play, but the Camels extended the margin to
as many as 29 down the stretch.
The Camels shot 51.9 percent
(14-27) from the floor in the second half, 45.3 percent (24-53) on
the game.
