Jonathan Rodriguez led Campbell (8-12, 3-5) with 15 points and 10 rebounds for his 10th double-double of the year, but the A-Sun's leading scorer made just 5-of-13 from the field. Jake Wohlfeil added 14 points, including 4-of-11 threes, and Kyle Vejraska 10. Reggie Bishop and Junard Hartley chipped in nine apiece.

Campbell, which dropped its third-straight game, shot just 37 percent for the second half after making 13-of-26 from the field before the break. The Camels finished 24-of-56 from the floor (.429), 6-of-22 (.273) from 3-point range.

Allen had eight points and JU hit seven of its first 11 shots in the second half during a 15-6 run to open the period and take a 48-43 lead with 15:11 remaining. The Dolphins extended the flurry to 22-8 on Allen's free throw and led 55-45 with 9:36 left. Campbell made just 4 of its first 19 shots (0-for-7 from 3-point range) in the second period.

Campbell rode a 9-1 run late in the opening period to take a 37-33 lead at the half. After Jacksonville made 10 of its first 18 field goals (.556), the Dolphins missed 11 of their final 12 attempts from the floor in the opening stanza – one where the score was tied on eight occasions and the lead changed nine times.

Wohlfeil had eight first-half points, including a pair of three-pointers, while Rodriguez and Preston Dodson chipped in seven each before the break. Allen had eight points in the opening half before picking up his third personal foul 48 seconds before intermission.

The victory was only the second in the last six meetings for Jacksonville in the series with the Camels, but the Dolphins have won eight of 10 all-time meetings in Jacksonville.
