After Dodson caught his second touchdown pass of the game to bring the Camels even at 21-21 with 11:28 to play in the third quarter, JU scored on its next five possessions.

Philpart grabbed a 45-yard scoring pass from McGregor to put the Dolphins back in front for good 28-21 with 9:38 left in the third.

Thompson's 14-yard TD reception pushed the gap to 35-21 with 6:10 to go.  Dawson's 19-yard scamper with 4:05 to play in the third left the Dolphins in front 42-21 after three periods.

JU drove 94 yards to open the fourth quarter and led 48-21 after Quintin Davis' 18-yard TD catch with 10:28 remaining.  McGregor's 5th TD pass of the day – a 43-yard connection to Larry Thompson – pushed the margin to 55-21.

T.J. Jenkins sacked Campbell backup quarterback Dakota Wolf in the end zone with 5 seconds to play for the final margin.

Campbell surrendered the most points since the program resumed in 2008.  Butler defeated CU 56-7 on Oct. 11, 2008 in CU's inaugural NCAA Division I football season.

Jacksonville gained 310 total yards in the first half, when big plays led to three Dolphin scores.

Dawson scampered 33 yards to cap a 5-play, 76-yard drive to put Jacksonville in front 7-0 with 2:40 left in the first quarter.

Ted Moore's 47-yard punt pinned JU at its own 5-yard line early in the second quarter.
After the Camels forced a 3-and-out, the Camels took over at the Dolphin 35.

Ten plays later, Campbell drew level when Smith connected with Dodson on a 3-yard touchdown pass on 4th and goal.

Andre Addison's 65-yard return on the ensuing kick-off set up JU on the Campbell 13.  Laster's 3-yard run and Bladen Gudz' point after pushed the Dolphins in front 14:17 with 7:15 to play in the second period.

Campbell took over on its own 40-yard line and started a 6-play, 60-yard drive to tie the score at 14.  Smith accounted for 33 yards in the possession, 20 on a run to the one; then scored on the next play.

McGregor connected with Riley on a 62-yard scoring pass on the following possession to give JU a 21-14 lead with 4:48 to play in the half.

After a Harrison Jordan fumble, Jacksonville took over on the CU 27 with 2:00 left in the half, but Steth Monroe intercepted McGregor's 4th-down pass to halt the threat.

Campbell returns to action next Saturday at Drake.  Jacksonville plays at Marist.
