DURHAM/CHAPEL HILL, NC - Campbell continued its fall slate over the weekend at the ITA Carolina Regional and the NCCU Invitational.

Lea Cutura and
Lucile Pons both posted an 3-2 overall record at the NCCU Invitational. Cutura topped North Carolina A&T's Angelica Martinez in the white singles flight singles with a 6-1, 6-4 win to move forward to the semifinals. Cutura later fell to Rachel Marthinsen from UNCW who posted a 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-1) victory. Pons posted a 6-0, 6-1 win in singles defeating NC A&T's Breanna Bryant.

Cutura and Pons competed alongside each other in doubles against NC A&T's Breanna Bryant and Marlene Estenssoro, beating the pair with a mark of 6-1. The Camels progressed in the Eagles Flight, beating UNC Charlotte's Imogen Cowper and Pierina Imparto with a 6-3 decision. Campbell's duo fell in the last round to UNC Charlotte's Zoe Radojicic and Tahlia Van Der Eerden 6-3.

On Thursday,
Pauline Roustan took on UNCW's Rishika Ravindran in the maroon flight, winning with a mark of 7-5, 7-5. In the semi-finals, Roustan fell to UNC Charlotte's Tahlia Van Der Eerden who won 6-3, 6-3.

At the ITA Carolina Regional,
Ana Castillo beat Furhman University's Julia Adams in singles with a mark of 7-5, 6-7, 6-1 before she later fell to Ingrid Martins from the University of South Carolina. Castillo competed in doubles alongside teammate
Lou Regen to beat Wake Forrest's Sabhyata Nihalani and Joanna Zalewski 8-3. The Campbell duo fell in the next round to UNC's Cameron Morra and Makenna Jones, 8-2.

Campbell returns to action October 26-27 at the Lynn Stevens Memorial Classic in Conway, S.C.
