BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell has announced its abbreviated 2020-21 wrestling schedule, kicking off New Year's Day with the first of six regular season dates.

The Camels, winners of three of the last four Southern Conference Championships, will begin the season with a pair of top-25 opponents (The Open Mat preseason poll) from the ACC on back-to-back days, starting with No. 12 North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Friday, January 1. A day later, CU will head to No. 9 Virginia Tech for a showdown with the Hokies in Blacksburg, Va.

Campbell will take on all eight of its SoCon opponents in four dates. Opening the SoCon season in Lexington, Va. on January 16, CU will meet second-year program Presbyterian and host VMI.

The Camels' lone home date of the 2020-21 campaign will come on January 23, hosting Appalachian State and Gardner-Webb.

From there, the Camels will take on The Citadel and Davidson on January 30 in Charleston, S.C., finishing out the regular season on February 5 in Chattanooga, Tenn., taking on Chattanooga and SoCon newcomer Bellarmine.  

The SoCon Championships will return to Boone, N.C. on February 28, where Campbell celebrated conference tournament titles in each of the last two seasons.
