Julianna Sanchez and Megan Matthews both tallied two points for the Camels, with Sanchez logging a goal and an assist, while Matthews dished out two assists. Five different Camels scored goals, with Sam Carey, Mackenzie Kolesar, Laura Will and Ally Heath joining Sanchez.

Carey tacked on three ground balls and a caused turnover, while Anna Ryan and Rebekah Taylor both notched three caused turnovers and three ground balls each, with Alex Salim recording 12 saves.

Elon held a 14-6 advantage in draw controls, posting a 14 shot attempt differential (34-20), while converting 5-of-9 free position tries.

CCU opened the season with a 12-8 win at Old Dominion, with Megan Bozzi and Lyla Robinson posting three goals apiece. Megan Kilpatrick and Abbey Buchanan also notched two goals for Coastal, which outshot the Monarchs 24-19, including 14-6 in the first half.

Emily D'Orsaneo and Regan McComb collected four ground balls, with McComb picking up five saves.

With the series dating back to Campbell's first season of lacrosse in 2013, CCU holds a 6-1 advantage over the Camels. Wednesday will mark the third time the Camels and Chanticleers will meet as nonconference foes.

Coastal took 2019's meeting 16-4 in Conway, S.C., with Mackenzie Kolesar scoring twice for the Camels.

Next up, Campbell will host Mercer on Sunday, February 16 at 1:30 p.m.
