BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell rounded out its 2020 recruiting class with seven additions who signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

The group joins six future Camels announced during December's early signing period, bringing CU's incoming scholarship class to 12.

"Our coaching staff did a great job with our recruiting class, with both the early period as well as this one," said head coach Mike Minter. "We were able to get guys that we really wanted here, and we're really excited about this group. Our coaches did a great job of getting out there and getting guys that fit our program, that have the cornerstones and the foundation to be successful here at Campbell University."

Wednesday's signees include six on the offensive side of the ball, with two offensive linemen, a quarterback, a running back, a tight end and a wide receiver, plus a defensive lineman, with five incoming freshmen and two transfers.

Three will remain in their home state, while two apiece will come to Buies Creek from Georgia and Florida.

"This place is like home," said assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Ben Bolling. "I know because I played here and now coach. It's an opportunity to do something special. Last year we were right on the edge of doing something really remarkable, and we all remember what it felt like to be at that point. Now we're trying to make sure these guys coming in understand that we're right there, and we're missing just a few pieces to the puzzle to get us over the hump. We have the talent in this program to do remarkable things. What we went out and found during this signing period were guys that are going to help us take that leap."
