BUIES CREEK, N.C. -  The Camels will be traveling to College Station, Texas this weekend for the Reveille Classic (March 5-7), in what will be the first set of games on the road this season for the team. The Camels will play five games across three days with matchups against Lamar, #25/#19 Tennessee, and hosts Texas A&M.

Fans looking to attend the Reveille Classic can purchase tickets online through the Texas A&M ticket office. Live stats will be available for every game of the tournament, with games against Texas A&M being streamed on the SEC Network +.
Last time out, the Camels went 1-3 last weekend in a series against Eastern Kentucky.
On Sunday, the Camels dropped the series finale to the Colonels, 8-3. While keeping the game tied through five innings, EKU's offense would explode in the sixth, for six runs which would prove more than enough for the win. This loss dropped Campbell to 4-4 on the season.

Bri Bryant has come back strong from an injury that saw her miss all of the 2020 season, now leading the team in RBIs with nine through eight games.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
#25/#19 Tennessee Lady Volunteers (12-1)
The Lady Volunteers come to College Station after going 4-0 last weekend while hosting the Tennessee Invitational. Over the weekend the ranked Lady Vols secured wins over the University of Tennessee at Martin, Central Michigan, and Northern Kentucky. Tennessee was tabbed to finish fourth in the SEC in the coaches' preseason poll and is led by All-SEC preseason team members Chelsea Seggern and Ashley Rogers.
Seggern, an infielder for the Lady Vols, is batting .343 on the season with 12 hits, one home run, and seven RBIs.
Rogers has been dominant in the circle, posting a 6-1 record and an ERA of 0.52 in eight appearances.
Texas A&M Aggies (7-2)
The Aggies entered the season predicted to finish 12th in the SEC preseason poll after going 17-9 in 2020 before the season was cut short due to COVID-19.
Last time out, the Aggies posted an impressive 11-5 win over Sam Houston on Wednesday, after sweeping Tulsa in a three-game series at home last weekend.
Junior Haley Lee leads the Aggies offensively, Â batting .429 on the season with 12 hits, six home runs, and 12 RBIs. In the circle, the Aggie pitching staff is led by Makinzy Herzog who has posted a 3-1 record with an ERA of 0.94 in 22.1 innings pitched.
The Aggies are coached by National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) Hall of Famer Jo Evans is in her 25th season at the helm of the Texas A&M softball program. Evans coached Campbell head coach
Sharonda McDonald-Kelley while she played at Texas A&M from 2004-2007.
Lamar Cardinals (2-13)
The Cardinals come into the Reveille Classic on a seven-game losing streak with their last win coming against Tarleton State on Feb. 21. Most recently, Lamar went 0-5 at the Lone Star Invitational, losing to #7/#7 Texas, Sam Houston, UConn, #23/#21 Baylor, and Texas State.
The Cardinals were picked to finish eighth in the Southland preseason poll.
