Box Score 2 COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS - The Camels had a rough first day at the Reveille Classic, losing games to SEC opponents #25/#19 Tennessee 13-1 (5 inn.) and hosts Texas A&M 3-0.
After today, the Camels will drop to 4-6 on the season, with the Volunteers improving to 13-1 and the Aggies moving to 9-2 on the season.
Game 1 - Tennessee 13, Campbell 1
The opening game of the Reveille Classic was a tough one for the Camels against nationally-ranked Tennessee.
After being held at bay for one inning, the high-powered Volunteer offense got to work scoring 13 runs, nine of which came from the long ball, as they hit four home runs in the game.
Sophomore Kiki Milloy, led the offensive charge with five RBIs off her two home runs and scoring four runs.
The Camels would get one run back in the bottom of the fifth, as
Delaney McDilda drove in
Alexa Pagano with an infield hit, but it would not be enough as the game ended due to the run rule after five.
Kayla Howald (1-4), takes the loss for the Camels, giving up three earned runs off six hits in two innings pitched.
Tennessee's Callie Turner (3-0), got the win pitching a complete five innings, only giving up one unearned run off four hits and striking out three.
Game 2 - Texas A&M 3, Campbell 0

Georgeanna Barefoot (1-1), put together an impressive performance in the circle for the Camels, only giving up three runs, on three hits in six innings of work, but still ended up with the loss.
The Aggies offense got on the scoreboard in the second with an RBI sacrifice fly to left field, then two, two-out singles in the third would bring in the last two runs of the games.
The Camels offense would continually draw close to scoring, posting five hits in the game, but were unable to find a way to scratch across any runs leaving seven total runners on base for the game.
Morgan Rios looked to get a late seventh-inning rally going with a one-out single to center field but was stranded as the next two batters would strikeout.
Makinzy Herzog (4-1), got the win for the Aggies, pitching seven shutout innings only giving up five hits and striking out 10.
