JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Dominique Alexander of Campbell track & field qualified for the finals of the 200m on the first day of the NCAA East Preliminary, Wednesday evening on Jax Track at Hodges Stadium.

Alexander finished third in his 200m heat, running a time of 20.89 seconds to advance to the finals on Friday.

The freshman also competed in the 100m, finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 10.36 seconds.

Campbell will have no athletes competing on day two of the regional event on Thursday but will return on Friday with five athletes set to compete in various events on the track and in the field.
