BOSTON, Mass. — Campbell track & field secured two sports on the podium at the CAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday at The TRACK at New Balance. 

Freshman Bryce Lofton made his championship debut securing the silver medal in the men's 60m dash with a time of 6.74. The time ties the fifth fastest time in indoor program history. 

The distance medley relay squad of Andrew Barrett, Mario Cantarero, Jacob Morrison and Seth Nelson finished third in the event with at time of 10:18.45. The squad moves their names into the record books at tenth all-time. 

Mario Cantarero set a new program record in the men's 800m with a time of 1:52.01 and placed fifth in the event. He cut down his time over two seconds after previously securing the sixth fastest time in program history. 

Emily Pierce competed in two events finishing eighth in the women's 3000m run and fifth in the women's 1 mile run. Her 3000m time of 9:52.96 is still good for seventh all-time while her mile run (4:51.52) puts in her in second all-time. 

Delaney Horton moved into ninth all-time after a season best performance in the women's 1 mile run with a time of 5:04.99. Jenna VanRyn and Emelyn Lacour also set new personal bests in the event with times of 5:06.10 and 5:07.61, respectively. VanRyn now moves into ninth all-time in the record books for her time. 

Abby Reutinger and Samantha Sproul set new personal bests in the women's 3000m clocking in at 10:39.15 and 10:41.00, respectively. Additionally, Mary Ella Bichey set a new personal record in the women's 5000m with a time of 18:51.88. 

Daniel Griffith finished eighth in the Pentathlon totaling 3185 points and set personal best in the 1000m (2:52.04) and long jump (5.75m). 

Isaiah Martine finished eighth in the men's 5000m after setting a season best mark of 15:31.41. 

Ty'Nasia Emory finished eighth in the women's 60m dash with a time of 7.59.
