BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell's 2021 season opener at Liberty has been set for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff, announced today by the Flames and ESPN.

The game, the first ever meeting between the Camels and the Flames, will be broadcast on ESPN3.

The matchup with Liberty will be the third straight season CU has opened the year at an FBS opponent. The Flames, who made the transition to FBS in 2018, are a former Big South member.

The Camels are also slated for a return trip to Lynchburg, Va. against the FBS Independent in 2024.

Campbell is coming off an abbreviated four-game, all-FBS schedule in the fall of 2020, taking on Georgia Southern, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State and Wake Forest.
