BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Continuing a four-game stretch away from home, Campbell (1-1) heads to Boone, N.C., this weekend for a multi-team event hosted by Appalachian State.  Campbell faces the host Mountaineers (3-0) Friday in a 7:00 p.m. tip-off on ESPN+.

The Camels then square off against Southland Conference member Southeastern Louisiana (2-1) Saturday at 4:00 p.m., followed by App State against Kennesaw State.

Campbell wraps up play in the event Sunday with a 12:00 p.m. tip-off against ASUN member Kennesaw State (2-1) with App State and SLU meeting at 2:30 p.m.

  • The Camels are coming off a 73-67 loss last Friday at NC State.  Ricky Clemons led Campbell with 18 points, plus a career-high 8 assists, while Jesus Carralero added 13 points and 7 rebounds.  Joshua Lusane came off the bench to chip in 11 points in 19 minutes for the Camels, who made 10-of-19 threes (.526) and never trailed by double figures.
  • Appalachian State is undefeated through three games for the first time since 1997-98 following Tuesday's 61-60 win at Louisville.  Donovan Gregory led the Mountaineers with 16 points, while Tyree Boykin added 14 for App State, which held the Cardinals (0-3) to 39 percent shooting.
