Sentinel Moore joins Campbell

BUIES CREEK - Sentinel Moore has officially signed with Campbell, and is the fourth player from Anderson to follow head coach Jimmie Williams to Buies Creek this offseason.

"Really excited Sent is coming with us from Anderson," Coach Williams said. "He is a perfect fit both on the court and in the locker room for what we are building. He is a bigman that can really run and defend. His goal is to be the defensive player of the year in the league, and it wouldn't surprise me if he gets it. He will be a leader and a sounding board for his teammates. His knowledge and familiarity will be great to have as we get started. He is a rim protector on defense that has the speed and athleticism to guard multiple positions. He is a hard worker and a great person. I can't wait to see his growth this season. He has a high ceiling and the willingness to work. Everyone here is going to love watching him play. Sent comes from a wonderful family in Oklahoma, and is a brother to many. I've coached him for two years and have seen him countless times come through for his teammates."

Moore, a 6-9 forward, appeared in 31 games for the Trojans, averaging 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Moore shot a blistering 70.8% from the floor, converting on 51 of his 72 attempts. The big man also shot 73.5% from the foul line.

The Oklahoma City native scored in double figures five times, with a season-high 17 against Clayton St. He hauled in 5+ rebounds eight times, with a season-best eight against Clayton St. He also logged a season-high three blocks on three occasions.

Moore will transfer to Campbell as a junior, having spent the last two seasons at Anderson. As a freshman in 2024-25, Moore averaged 4.4 points and 3.2 rebounds.
