BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell rookie standout Myles Rowser has been named to The Bluebloods 2022 FCS All-Freshman team.
A safety from Detroit, Mich., Rowser racked up 44 tackles with 1.0 stop for loss, an interception, three pass breakups, a hurry and a fumble recovery as a freshman for the Camels.
Rowser picked up two or more tackles in all 10 games played in 2022, making seven stops with a fumble recovery and a pass breakup in Campbell's season finale win at Delaware State. He also made seven tackles apiece against NC Central and Bryant, adding an interception in the win against NCCU.
The freshman also broke up passes against Charleston Southern and Jackson State, making five tackles with a stop for loss at East Carolina.
The inaugural Bluebloods FCS All-Freshman team includes 28 freshman standouts from across the country and includes a representative from 12 of the 15 FCS conferences. To be eligible for the All-Freshman Team, players must be in their first or second academic year and cannot have participated in four or more games in the previous academic year.
