LAST TIME OUT
Randall King tied a school record with four touchdowns and Campbell outlasted Bryant in double overtime, 50-48. The Camels picked up their first overtime win since 2019 (W 49-47 at Gardner-Webb, 3OT), hitting the 50-point mark for the first time since 2023 (W 56-7 at The Citadel).
In a game that featured four ties and five lead changes, the Camels and Bulldogs headed to overtime at 35-all after Bryant knotted the score with Aldrich Doe's 35-yard TD reception from Brennan Myer with six seconds to go in regulation.
Bryant led 28-21 with 5:33 remaining in the fourth quarter after Liam Lindo's pick-six, and turned Campbell over again on its next possession with Hollis Dirstine jumping on a fumble.
After a missed field goal, Campbell struck on its first play from scrimmage with
Kamden Sixkiller launching a 77-yard TD strike to King. Four plays later, DeVonyae Pettis' strip-sack returned the ball to the Camels with 1:55 remaining.
Mike Chandler II's 33-yard run set up another TD from Sixkiller to King, this time an 11-yard score. From there, Bryant used seven plays to cover 75 yards, converting a fourth down at the Campbell 42 yard line before Myer's TD pass to Doe.
The teams traded touchdowns in extra time, with Bryant striking first on Myer's 18-yard run, followed by a double pass that ended in a TD from Chandler to King, his fourth of the night. Campbell followed with a six-play TD drive, with
Dawson Adams-Grenier notching a seven-yard TD catch, with
Naieem Kearney tacking on the two-point conversion, punching in a rush up the middle.
The Bulldogs needed just two plays to find the end zone again, with Dylan Kedzior scoring from seven yards out. The two point try, however, failed with Myer's pass being batted down, securing the overtime win for the Camels' first win of the 2025 season.
King ended the night with eight catches for 142 yards, the sophomore's second straight game over the century mark, while Sixkiller tossed five TDs, one short of the school single-game record, completing 29-of-48 passes for 334 yards and two interceptions, with Campbell totaling 557 total yards.
LEADING THE CAMELS
Kamden Sixkiller has thrown for 893 yards and seven touchdowns, completing almost 66 percent of his passes, coming off his first 300-yard passing game as a Camel. Coming off back-to-back 100-yard receiving games,

JJ Cowan has also rushed for 154 yards, combining for three touchdowns.

THE MATCHUP: WESTERN CAROLINA
The Catamounts are also coming off their first win of the season, topping Samford 50-35 in their SoCon opener. Ranked as high as No. 18 in the FCS this season, WCU has also faced CAA member Elon, falling 37-31.
Against Samford, QB Taron Dickens tossed 582 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for 42 yards, on the way to SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors. James Tyre and Malik Knight, meanwhile, have combined for 445 yards receiving with four touchdowns.
LIVERMON NAMED WILLIAM V. CAMPBELL TROPHY SEMIFINALIST
Campbell linebacker
Logan Livermon has been named a semifinalists for the prestigious William V. Campbell Trophy, as announced by the National Football Foundation.
The Campbell Trophy recognizes an individual as the absolute best scholar-athlete in the nation for combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership. There were 177 student-athletes selected as semifinalists across all divisions, with the group having a combined grade point average of 3.60. Of the 177 semifinalists, 43 were from the FCS level.
A Midlothian, Va. native, Livermon has tallied 25 tackles, including 1.0 stop for loss this season while again serving on the team's leadership council and as a game captain in all four CU outings so far of 2025. Coming off a season-best 10 tackles in a double overtime CAA win over Bryant, Livermon is a two-time College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District honoree (2023-24). He graduated in May 2025 with a degree in sport management in sport communication, and is now pursuing a master's degree in applied leadership at Campbell.
Off the field, Livermon has been involved in focused efforts with Triton High School football student-athletes in mentorship and guidance, and has led efforts with Campbell Athletics engagement, helping serve other sports teams on campus. He has also volunteered at Buies Creek First Baptist Church, serving others while also valuing faith.
KING NAMED CAA CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
After a record performance in a double overtime win, Campbell's
Randall King has been named CAA Football Co-Offensive Player of the Week. King tied a school record with four touchdown catches, including two in the fourth quarter and another in overtime, propelling Campbell to a 50-48 double OT win over CAA foe Bryant. King totaled 142 receiving yards on eight catches, the sophomore's second straight game over the century mark. King's four TDs, the most by a Camel against a Division I opponent in school history, matched Aaron Blockmon's output in a win against Chowan in 2016.
The Rocky Mount native hauled in TDs on back-to-back possessions in the fourth quarter, including a 77-yard strike from QB
Kamden Sixkiller to tie the game, followed by an 11-yard go-ahead catch with 1:15 remaining in regulation. He also notched a touchdown in the first overtime, a double pass from
Mike Chandler II. King added kick return duties in the win (three returns for 57 yards), bringing his all-purpose total to 199 yards for the night.
