GREENSBORO, N.C. - Dominique Alexander set a new school record in the 100m and Campbell finished competition at the Aggie Classic.
ON THE TRACKAlexander broke his own school record in the men's 100m, clocking in a time of 10.27. The sophomore's record was previously set last season and stood at 10.32, the same time teammate Ja'Travious Stewart managed in the event today.
Jaden Jenkins set a personal best in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.70, taking third overall in the event.
In the women's 400m, Chastity Pickett set a personal record with a time of 55.60. Maya Tucker set a personal best in the 100m with a time of 11.93 and placing fifth overall in the event.
Campbell men's 4x400m relay team wrapped up the day by taking third with a time of 3:17.85.
IN THE FIELD
Jenna Dankert started the day off for the throwers by earning a personal best mark of 48.48m (158' 8") in the women's hammer throw. D.J. McClain claimed first place in the men's hammer with a toss of 56.96 (186' 10").
Omar Ibrahim managed to set a personal best mark in the shot put at 15.37m (50' 5.25"), good enough for fifth overall.
In the men's triple jump C.J. McBride took second overall with a mark of 15.04m (49' 4.25"). Destiny Bailey-Perkins set a personal best mark of 11.60m (38' 0.75") in the women's triple jump.
