KNOXVILLE, TENN. - Campbell makes its second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and fifth overall on Friday as it takes on hosts and No. 11 seeded Tennessee at the Knoxville Regional. Friday's game against the Lady Vols at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Courtney Lyle and Danielle Lawrie providing commentary.
The Camels will play either Ohio State or Oregon State on Saturday on ESPN+. Tickets are available to purchase at bit.ly/CUKnoxvilleRegional22. Please note that Sherri Parker Lee Stadium has a clear bag policy.

NCAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- Campbell is set to make back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances since 2008-09 after winning the Big South Championship title last weekend
- Last year Campbell picked up its second NCAA Tournament victory with a 7-1 win over Boston at the Stillwater Regional. Campbell also faced hosts Oklahoma State and Mississippi State at last year's regional, dropping games to both teams.
- Campbell's first win in NCAA Tournament play came in 2008 when it defeated North Carolina, 7-6 at the Chapel Hill Regional
SERIES HISTORY - TENNESSEE
- Tennessee holds a 6-0 record all-time against Campbell
- The Camels met the Lady Vols last season at the Reveille Classic in College Station, Texas. Tennessee picked up two wins over Campbell, 13-1 (5 inn.) and 14-0 (5 inn.)
- Both teams first met in 2010 at the Tennessee Invitational in Knoxville with the Volunteers picking up two wins, 9-0 and 9-6.
- Campbell returned to face the Lady Vols in 2014, falling 1-0 in that season's the Tennessee Invitational and in 2017, losing 10-1.
- Campbell's last win over a SEC and ranked foe came against #12 ranked South Carolina in a midweek contest on April 18, 2018

- Picked up her 100th career win against USC Upstate in the Big South Championship on May 12, 2022, becoming the fastest head coach in Campbell history to reach 100 wins
- Spent time as an assistant coach at Ohio State, Florida, LSU and Texas Tech prior to becoming head coach of the Camels
- Four-time All-Big 12 selection as a player for Texas A&M (2004-07). Holds numerous records for the Aggies including most runs scored and stolen bases. Led the NCAA in 2005 with 48 steals to earn the Golden Shoe Award. Her 73 consecutive stolen bases during her tenure at Texas A&M tied an NCAA record, and she led the Aggies to the Women's College World Series as a senior for the first time in 20 years.
