WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Campbell combined for seven singles tournament wins over the weekend at Wake Forest, closing out its 2023 fall schedule.
 
Damien Nezar and Menjamin Maes both advanced to finals matches in their respective brackets.
 
After an initial loss to South Carolina's Casey Hoole (6-3, 6-4) to open play, Nezar beat Pierre Mouesca from Georgia Southern in the semifinals 6-2, 6-4, then went on to win against Dimitris Paliouras from Georgia Southern 7-5, 6-3, in the finals.
 
Maes, meanwhile, defeated Judson Blair from Georgia Southern in the finals with a score of 6-4, 2-6, 6-3, also topping UNC Asheville's Freddy Murray, 7-6 (7-2), 3-6, 6-3. Maes also faced Spencer Gray from Charlotte, falling 7-5, 6-2.
