BUIES CREEK – Campbell is set to host No. 11 East Carolina to Jim Perry Stadium Tuesday evening for the first of three meetings between the teams this season. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
Both teams are coming off series wins in the opening weekend, as the Camels took two of three from Rutgers, and the Pirates swept George Washington.

Series History
Campbell and ECU have met 80 times in the series stretching back to 1965. ECU took each of the two meetings a year ago, winning 10-3 in Buies Creek and 7-6 in Greenville. The Pirates have now won five of the previous seven meetings since 2019 with Campbell's last win in the series coming in 2020, getting a 7-2 win at home against No. 16 ECU.
Know Your Opponent
ECU was ranked No. 11 in the preseason and remained there through one weekend of play, sweeping George Washington 9-5, 11-3, and 23-5. The Pirates slugged seven home runs during the first weekend and hit .376 as a team.
Last Time Out
Campbell earned the series win against Rutgers, taking the first two games 11-5 and 10-0, before dropping Sunday's game 16-3. The shutout was Campbell's first since blanking Liberty 7-0 early last year. The 16 runs allowed on Sunday matched the most Campbell allowed last year, falling in the final game of the season to Georgia Tech.
Campbell vs ECU at Segra Stadium
The Camels and Pirates will meet for a neutral site game at Segra Stadium, home of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, on March 22. Tickets for that game are on sale now. Day-of Diamond General Admission tickets are $17 and General Admission tickets are $13. Fans can save $2 per ticket by purchasing in advance. All current and former military will receive a discount through GovX or by visiting the Truist Box Office. Luxury Suites are also available for $400.
Gameday Policies
Gates will open one hour prior to first pitch. Campbell's clear bag policy will be in effect. Parking is free and available at Jim Perry Stadium and behind Gore Arena.
