Campbell is 3-2 on the season following last Wednesday's 10-7 win at George Mason and a 14-7 win over Old Dominion on Saturday.
Against the Monarchs, CU used a nine goal run, including a 7-0 third quarter, to run past a 5-3 second quarter deficit.
Six Camels tallied three or more points in the win, including
Rasa Welsh, who led CU on the offensive end with five points on two goals and three assists, adding a pair of ground balls.
Ally Heath,
Olivia Ohlmann,
Lexi Goff and
Kyla Azzato all registered two goals and an assist, with
Grace Tompkins posting a goal and two helpers.
Chandler Stewart, meanwhile, caused three turnovers with two ground balls, with
Shae Fitzgerald notching two ground balls and a caused turnover, headlining nine different Camels to caused ODU turnovers on the day.
Natalie Mellen and
Emma Strickland also split time in goal, making three saves apiece.
On Tuesday, Welsh and Fitzgerald were named
Big South players of the week. Welsh earned the league's offensive player of the week nod, while Fitzgerald collected her second defensive weekly honor this season.
Welsh registered a team-high 10 points on the week, posting five points in both outings, while Fitzgerald tallied six caused turnovers and five ground balls, helping the Camels hold both of its opponents to seven goals each, including a pair of shutout quarters.
So far this season, Camels have been named Big South players of the week seven times in just four weeks.
Sam Bischoff leads the Camels with 23 points on 21 goals and two assists, ranking fourth in the nation in goals per game at 4.20 per outing. Welsh also owns 21 points on eight goals and 13 assists, while Heath has scored eight goals with two assists.
Defensively,
Rebekah Taylor, who became Campbell's all-time leader in caused turnovers last week, paces the Camels with nine ground balls and nine caused turnovers, while Fitzgerald has notched 15 ground balls with nine caused turnovers.
Clemson is 5-2 on the season, coming off a 21-3 win over Longwood. Campbell is one of eight Big South programs on the Tigers' schedule this season. Clemson is 5-0 against Big South opponents so far, including Sunday's win over the Lancers.
Gianna New and Hanna Hilcoff come into Wednesday's game with 30 points apiece for the Tigers, with New adding nine ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Ella Little also tacks on 17 ground balls.
Wednesday will mark the first meeting between the Camels and Tigers, and Campbell's first ACC opponent since facing both North Carolina and Duke in 2019.
Following Wednesday's matchup, the Camels will return home for the first of a three game homestand on March 15, hosting Marist.
