Know Your Opponents
Duke has been hot lately and is coming off a sweep of then-No. 12 Louisville to vault back into the top 25 at No. 20. The Blue Devils have won five in a row with back-to-back series wins over No. 11 BC and No. 12 Louisville.

The pitching staff continues to be solid, sitting in fifth nationally in team ERA (3.49), and third in strikeouts per nine (11.8). Kassius Thomas is expected to make his first start of the season after five relief appearances. Thomas has struck out 11 in just 4.1 innings of work this season, but has issued five walks as well.

Elon is coming off a pair of series loss to William & Mary and Stony Brook, and have lost four of five including a midweek to Gardner-Webb. The Phoenix have a pair of ranked wins on the resume already, including over No. 2 Wake Forest and No. 17 NC State.

Elon also boasts a strong pitching staff, sitting in 18th place with a team ERA of 3.86. The staff doesn't issue many walks, just 2.85 per game, good for fourth best in the country.

Last Time Out
Campbell swept High Point by out-scoring the Panthers 48-17 for the series. The Camels notched 37 hits and posted an OBP of .517 for the weekend by working 29 walks and 10 HBPs. Jake Murray started on the mound for the first time in his career Sunday and pitched five no-hit innings and struck out eight. He, along with Cade Boxrucker fanning 11 on Saturday, both set new career-highs for strikeouts this weekend.
