Series History
The Camels and Runnin' Bulldogs have met 51 times, with CU holding a 33-18 advantage. Campbell has now won six in a row against GWU, including four games last season by sweeping the regular season series and topping GWU in the Big South quarterfinals. Lawson Harrill was the hero that day, providing a walk-off single with nobody out in the ninth to lift the Camels to a 4-3 victory and keeping the season alive.

Know Your Opponent
Gardner-Webb is currently third in the Big South at 27-20, 12-9 in the league. The Runnin' Bulldogs will be looking to end a seven-game losing streak this weekend, after being swept by Georgia Tech and USC Upstate, before dropping a midweek at North Carolina.

Curtis Robinson leads the team with a .368 average, good for fifth in the league, and is one of two qualified hitters batting over .300.

Bobby Alcock is expected to take the hill Friday night in what should be a good matchup between Campbell's national leading offense and Alcock's Big South leading 2.60 ERA. Alcock is 6-2 in 11 starts on the year. He's struck out 88 in 68.1 innings of work.

Last Time Out
Campbell led immediately after a leadoff home run from Jarrod Belbin and never slowed down in a 24-5 win over UNCW. Campbell hit three home runs in the first inning, and Lawson Harrill went deep twice in the game. Eleven different Camels logged a hit and 11 also had an RBI.

The win was the largest in program history over UNCW in 102 meetings between the teams.

Winning Ways
Campbell has now won six in a row, the second-longest win streak of the season. During the streak, Campbell is outscoring opponents 72-29 and has logged 40 extra-base hits.

The Camels now have four different win streaks of at least five games this season, with the longest being seven games. Campbell has lost back-to-back contests just once, and is yet to lose a series.
