AUSTIN, TEXAS - Dorcus Ewoi and Chastity Pickett earned first team All-America honors on the final day of the NCAA Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Ewoi took fifth overall in the 800m final, finishing with a time of 2:02.13. The Kitale, Kenya native made strides down the final stretch to break ahead from the pack trailing the leaders. Ewoi earns first team All-America honors, a year after taking second team honors in the same event.
Pickett earned the highest individual finish in women's program history, taking third overall in the 400m hurdles. Her time of 54.86 broke her own school record, just two days after breaking it again in the event semifinals. Pickett will claim first team All-America honors for the first time in her career.Â
