The Wolfpack moved to 2-0 on the season, while Campbell dipped to 0-2 with the loss, both coming against top-10 competition.
The No.52-ranked duo of Gabriella Broadfoot and Abigail Rencheli clinched the doubles point for NC State, defeating
Tamsin Hart and
Veronika Prospalova, 6-1.
In singles play, the Wolfpack's top-five all carried national rankings, including No. 3 Amelia Rajecki, who topped
Mialy Ranaivo, 6-1, 6-3. No. 40 Anna Zyryanova clinched the dual win, edging CU's
Eeva Ristola, 6-2, 7-5.
Next up, CU will travel to nearby UNC Greensboro (January 28) and Mount Olive (February 3) before making its home debut on February 4, hosting Barton.
