GREENVILLE, S.C. – With three players among the top 23 individuals, Campbell is tied for seventh in the team standings following the first two rounds of the Furman Intercollegiate, Saturday at the Furman University Golf Club.
 
Benjamin Killinstad (72-72—144), Joachim Larsen Tegner (73-71—144) and Erik Johansson (73-71—144) all stand at 2-over on the par-71 layout and are tied for 23rd place heading into Sunday's final round. Henric Bjelke (75-72—147) and Douglas Nordlof (75-72—147) are tied for 45th at 5-over par.
 
No. 27 Texas A&M (274-281—555) is 13-under as a team and leads host and 60th-ranked Furman (277-279—556) by one stroke.  No. 34 Wake Forest (282-277—559) is third, followed by USC Aiken (576), Davidson (576), Western Kentucky (577), Campbell (293-286—579) and James Madison (579).  CU enters Sunday's play just three shots out of fourth place in the 15-team event.
 
Phichaksn Maichon of Texas A&M is the 36-hole individual leader at 7-under 135 (65-70), one shot ahead of teammates Aaron Pound and Jacob Sosa and Wake Forest's Scotty Kennon.
