BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell closed out its 2024 freshman signing class with four additions on Wednesday.
This week's additions include three incoming freshmen, plus one transfer.
CU's three incoming freshmen include a pair of Georgia native offensive linemen in Donovan Thompson (Meadowcreek High School) and Jordan Weekes (Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School), as well as Rocky Mount native wide receiver Randall King (Northern Nash High School).
The Camels also officially welcomed University of North Carolina transfer linebacker Jalen Brooks.
The group, along with Campbell's
six previous announced December signees gives the Fighting Camels the No. 4 ranked recruiting class in the FCS, according to 247Sports, standing No. 133 in all of college football. Over the last three cycles, the Camels have posted three straight top-five FCS recruiting classes, including the top classes in 2022 and 2023.
CU's 2024 schedule will include six home and six away dates in total, kicking off the season on the road at Liberty on August 31.
