Previous Meeting
Campbell faced Monmouth just once this season in West Long Branch, N.J. on Feb. 15 in a wild game. Anthony Dell'Orso (31 points) and Xander Rice (37) both lit up the scoreboard in a game that finished with Rice banking home the game-winner from 40 feet out.

Campbell trailed by 11 with 5:30 to go, but quickly erased that late deficit to set up the dramatic finish. The Camels led by five with 17 seconds to go before Rice hit a pair of threes in the final seconds to win it.

Last Time Out
The Camels topped NC A&T 64-62 in the regular season finale. Four Camels finished with double-figure scoring while Jasin Sinani led the way with 14 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double.

It was a back-and-forth affair throughout the night that featured 14 lead changes and 11 ties. Campbell took the lead for good on a Tasos Cook layup with 2:46 to go. Gediminas Mokseckas hit one of two at the stripe with two seconds left to ice the game away, as the Aggies had no timeouts remaining.

The Season at a Glance
Campbell completed its first CAA season with a 14-17, 8-10 record and ninth in the CAA. The Fighting Camels split all but one weekend in league play. Campbell got off to a slow start at 1-4 before going 4-2 during December to get back on track.

The Camels played their fair share of thrillers, including winning on a last-second shot at Elon from Anthony Dell'Orso, downing UNCW in 2OT 105-100, and watching a last-second jumper from Hofstra rim out for a one-point win.

Plenty of players made big contributions with Dell'Orso, Vaistaras, and Sinani all turning in multiple 20-point games.

Dell'Orso named all-CAA
Anthony Dell'Orso was tabbed second-team all-CAA. The Australian is the youngest player on either the first or second team as the only sophomore represented, joining nine upperclassmen or graduate students.

Dell'Orso shined in CAA play turning in 12 20-point games and averaged 21.9 ppg in league play, the third-most in the CAA. In league games, the sophomore finished second in steals (1.7), third in scoring, fourth in FG% (51%), fifth in FT% (81%), and 12th in rebounding (6.9).

Looking Ahead
The winner of Saturday's contest will advance to the CAA Quarterfinals to face top-seeded Charleston. That game will also be at noon on FloHoops.
