WILLIAMSBURG, VA. – No. 6 seed Campbell picked up a 4-0 win over No. 11 seed Hampton on Thursday in its CAA Men's Tennis Championship debut at William & Mary's Mackesy Tennis Center.
The Camels moved to 13-7 on the season, blanking an opponent for the sixth time in 2024, while Hampton ended its season at 8-14 overall.
Campbell advances to face No. 3 seed Elon in Friday's quarterfinals at 6:00 p.m.
Splitting the first two doubles matchups, Campbell claimed the opening point with
Benjamin Maes and
Lukas Steffen defeating Emiliano Jorquera and Donte Ambrister 6-2.
Luke Tollenaar then opened singles competition with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Benjamin Mwanza before
Tomas Balazi downed Shine Tokas 6-2, 6-4.
Pol Otin closed out the win for the Camels, notching a 6-2, 6-4 win over HU'S Aryan Arora.
