HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. – Heavy rainfall from an approaching tropical storm Monday forced the cancellation of the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, hosted by NC State at the Club at 12 Oaks.

Henric Bjelke was tied for first place at 1-under par when the horn blew after players had completed 10 of the 54 scheduled holes in the two-day event.
After reviewing course conditions for nearly three hours and given the weather forecast, tournament officials decided to cancel the event.
Campbell is quite familiar with the Club at 12 Oaks layout, routinely playing practice rounds at the course, which is located just 25 miles north of campus.
The 12-team field included ACC member NC State plus schools representing six different conferences. Campbell is the lone CAA member in the field.
Campbell returns to action Sept. 30-Oct. 1 in the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational, hosted by West Virginia at Mystic Rock GC in Farmington, Pa.
