Camels host rematch with Hofstra

BUIES CREEK - Campbell hosts Hofstra in a rematch of last Saturday's classic, this time in Gore Arena Saturday at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on FloCollege.

Previous Meeting
The Camels won an instant classic 69-67 in overtime just a week ago on Long Island. Down as many as 18, Campbell clawed back in the second half to tie the game on a Jasin Sinani three with two seconds to play. Colby Duggan then provided the winner with a baseline jumper with a second left in overtime.

Last Time Out
Campbell trounced William & Mary 96-55 Thursday night behind a combination of hot shooting and stifling defense. The Camels connected on a season-high 14 three-pointers and went a stellar 20-22 at the foul line. Meanwhile, the CAA's top offense shot only 26% and 12% from beyon the arc, both season lows for William & Mary.

The win is Campbell's largest D1 home win ever, and second-largest conference win. It was also the largest league win by any CAA team since 2019.

Scouting The Pride
Hofstra enters Saturday at 12-10, 4-5 coming off a 74-63 win at Elon Thursday night. Cruz Davis led the way with 18 points in the victory.

Hofstra is led by the duo of Jean Aranguren and Cruz Davis, averaging 14.3 and 14.2 points per game, respectively. Campbell will work to keep Michael Graham off the glass. Graham is second in the CAA with 8.5 rebounds per game and hauled in 21 last time he faced the Camels.

The Pride are currently tied for seventh and one game back of Campbell in the CAA standings.

Looking Ahead
Campbell has another home weekend on the horizon, starting with Elon Thursday night at 7 p.m.
