Scouting Tulane: Tulane was picked to finish fifth in the American Conference preseason coaches' poll. Amira Mabry and Kendall Sneed were selected to the all-conference second team. Tulane alum Ashley Langford ('09) begins her second year in charge after spending the previous three seasons at the helm at Stony Brook. Â

Gianni Boone was named to the preseason All-CAA First Team. The Camels, who finished last year as the CAA runner-up, were picked to finish fourth in the preseason coaches' poll.

20 Win Season: The Camels went 22-13 last year, marking the fifth time in nine seasons that Coach Fisher has led the squad to 20+ wins.

Top Trio Returns: The trio of
Ciara Alexander,
Olivia Tucker and
Jasmine Felton, the top freshmen trio in the CAA last year, return for their sophomore campaigns in Buies Creek.

Impact Newcomers: Campbell welcomes a trio of freshmen to Buies Creek:
Keaton Rikard,
N'na Konate and
Jasmine Nivar. The team also brings in
Ashleigh Battle, a transfer from Eastern Florida State College.

A Summer Abroad: Konate and Nivar competed internationally this season. Konate participated with Switzerland at U20 Eurobasket, helping the Swiss to a 5-2 record in the tournament. Nivar played with the Puerto Rico U18 squad at GLOBL Jam.

Decade under Fisher: Head Coach
Ronny Fisher enters his 10
th season at the helm in Buies Creek. He has amassed a 174-102 record and has twice led Campbell to a program record 23 wins in a season.

Built on Defense: Campbell is the only program in the nation to be ranked in the top-25 in scoring defense in eight of the past nine seasons. In the
Ronny Fisher era, Campbell has held 42 opponents to 40 points or less and 109 opponents to 50 points or less.
