BUIES CREEK, N.C. – 11 players from Campbell, including a program record-tying six on the first team, were named to the CAA's all-conference teams, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
Â
Evans Dapaah,
Lilian Fichelle,
Filipe Matos,
Ethan Roberts,
Daniel Santos Rosa and
Marco Wright were each selected by the coaches in the conference to the first team, made up of 13 student-athletes.
Â
The Fighting Camels were the only school to have more than two players selected to the first team. Hofstra and Stony Brook placed two athletes, while Charleston, Elon and UNCW each had one representative.
Â
This is the first season as members of the CAA Campbell has a representative on the All-CAA First Team at the end of the season. Six members ties a program record, which CU accomplished in 2019, 2021 and 2022 as a member of the Big South.
Â
Lotem Ben Dov and
Max Leviton were named to the Second Team, and
Jake Roberts was selected as a member of the third team.
Â
Kristijan Bandur and
Ronnie Garcia were named to the conference's all-rookie team.
Â
The group is one shy of the program record, set by the Camels in the 2020-21 season in which the team boasted 12 representatives. The Big South honors an additional All-Academic Team, which accounted for one of the 12 that season.
