Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 STATESBORO, Ga. - Campbell is now 7-4 after falling to Fairfield and Georgia Southern on day one of the GATA Challenge. 
 
Game One – Campbell falls to Fairfield, 8-5
 
The game went into extra innings because the score was tied 0-0 up until the top of the eighth inning, when Charli Warren hit an RBI single to put the Stags on the board. The Camels also scored a run after Tyra Parker bunted to bring Alyssa Armijo home in the bottom of the eighth. Fairfield scored another run in the ninth after a RBI from Faith Camirelli, and the Camels also scored after a RBI from Allyiah Swiney.


The Stags scored six runs in the tenth inning. Charlie Montgomery and Tyra Parker hit RBI singles, and then Montgomery stole home to give the Camels their fifth and final run of the game. 

Katherine Serna was credited with the loss after pitching 0.1 innings and allowing three hits, five earned runs and one strikeout. 

Alyssa Weinberg was credited with the win after pitching 10.0 innings and allowing seven hits, two earned runs and 15 strikeouts. 

Game Two – Camels fall short to Georgia Southern, 5-3

The Eagles scored three runs in the first three innings to put them on the board. The Camels answered in the fifth inning after Alyssa Armijo hit an RBI double that brought in Devin Davis. Montgomery then hit an RBI that brought in Livie Davis. Hannah Cornetto then hit an RBI sac bunt that brought in Armijo for the Camels third run of the game. Delanie Thames hit a two RBI home run in the seventh inning, that was the game winning runs for the Eagles. 
 
Cassiti Baroni was credited with the loss after pitching 1.1 innings and allowing three hits, two earned runs and one strikeout.

Morgan Kendrick picked up the win after pitching two innings and allowing one hit, no earned runs and two strikeouts.
