BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell heads on the road for its final two road games of the regular season. The Camels travel to Towson on Friday in a 6 PM tip against the Tigers before heading to Philadelphia on Sunday for a 2 PM matchup at Drexel. Both games will be broadcast on FloCollege.
A PROGRAM BUILT ON DEFENSE
- Campbell is the only program in the nation to be ranked in the top-25 in scoring defense in each of the past eight seasons
- In the Ronny Fisher era (since 2016-17) Campbell has held 42 opponents to 40 points or less and 109 opponents to 50 points or less

LAST TIME OUT
- Campbell bounced back after receiving its first loss at home this season with a 76-51 victory over Stony Brook on Sunday
- Campbell shot 60.4 percent from the field marking its best single-game FG% against a Division-I team since Dec. 31, 2020 (60.4% vs. Winthrop)
- Four Camels finished in double-figures led by freshmen Ciara Alexander with 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field and Jasmine Felton who poured in 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field (8-of-8 from two)
- Campbell shot 70.7 percent from two, pouring in a season-high 58 points in the paint
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Towson enters 9-17 overall and 7-8 in CAA play this season. The Tigers have won three of their last four games with wins over Hofstra, Stony Brook and Northeastern
- The Tigers have three players who average 10+ points with India Johnston (12.1), Anasia Staton (11.3) and Khady Leye (10.2)

SERIES HISTORY
- Campbell heads to Drexel in a series the Dragons lead 2-1
- Drexel handed Campbell its first home loss of the season last week in a 60-54 win in Buies Creek
- Drexel held off the Camels 59-54 last season in the lone regular season matchup between the squads up in Philadelphia
- Campbell's lone win in the series came in the first-ever matchup between both sides in 1992, a 71-52 victory at a tournament hosted by Virginia Tech
ALEXANDER NAMED CAA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
- Ciara Alexander picked up her second CAA Rookie of the Week honors on Feb. 24
- Alexander led the Camels averaging 14.0 points on 55.0 percent shooting along with 5.0 boards and 1.5 steals in a narrow loss to Drexel and a win over Stony Brook
- She scored 10 points and pulled down seven boards in 17 minutes against Drexel before leading the Camels with 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field, three rebounds, two steals and a blockÂ

- Campbell has already matched its CAA win total from last season (9) with four games left in the regular season
- Five of Campbell's nine CAA wins have been by 20 or more points including a 30-point win over Hampton and a 40-point win over Northeastern

- The team's leading scorer, Gianni Boone has three 20-point outings this season
- Boone has scored 21 points against Western Carolina and Stony Brook and dropped 20 points and added 10 boards against UNCW. Boone has scored in double-figures 15 times overall

FRESHMEN CONTRIBUTIONS
- Campbell boasts one of the best trio of freshmen in the CAA this season with all three winning CAA weekly honors at least once this season
- Olivia Tucker is one of the top scoring options for the Camels off the bench in CAA play, averaging 8.2 points per game on the season
- Tucker was named CAA Player of the Week after scoring 20+ points in consecutive games against ETSU (24) and Miami (20)
- Jasmine Felton is a three-time CAA Rookie of the Week, averaging 8.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals all while shooting a team-high 53.5 percent from the field
- Ciara Alexander ranks 3rd on the team averaging 9.2 points along with 4.7 boards - all while playing just 15.7 minutes off the bench
- Alexander has scored in double-figures in nine of 14 CAA games and has been named CAA Rookie of the Week twice this season

- Nunez posted a career-high 12 assists, including nine in the first half, at Stony Brook
- She followed that up by recording her first career double-double with 11 pts and 11 assists against Monmouth
- Nunez also opened up CAA play dealing 9 assists at both UNCW and Charleston and dished out 9 assists against William & Mary
- Nunez was named CAA Player of the Week (Feb. 9) after leading the Camels to wins over Northeastern and NC A&T
FELTON ONE OF THE BEST FROM TWO
- Freshman guard Jasmine Felton is shooting 67.3 percent from two (70-of-104), ranking 9th in the country
- Felton is the only freshman and the only guard in the top 10 nationally for two-point field goal percentage
DAHLQUIST FROM DEEP
- Senior forward Courtney Dahlquist ranks 3rd in the CAA shooting 36.8 percent from behind the arc
- Her 49 threes this season also ranks 4th in the CAA
- Dahlquist scored a career-best 21 points in 27 minutes, connecting on 5-of-8 threes at Stony Brook
- She followed up that game with another 20 point outing against Monmouth, making a career-high 6 three-pointers
HOMEGROWN TALENT
- Campbell enters the 2024-25 season as one of six D-I programs without a transfer (from any level) on its roster for a second-straight season (Air Force, Brown, Cornell, Princeton, South Dakota St.)

HEAD COACH RONNY FISHER
- A three-time Big South Coach of the Year, Ronny Fisher enters his ninth season at the helm of Campbell women's basketball and 17th as a head coach overall
- Over the previous eight seasons, Campbell has won 152 games for an average of 19 wins per season (152-90)
- Fisher enters the 2024-25 season with 249 career wins (249-234), which ranks 2nd most amongst active CAA coaches trailing only Charleston's Robin Harmony with 317 wins (317-183)
- Under Fisher, the Camels claimed the 2019-20 and 2021-22 Big South regular season titles and finished as Big South tournament runners-up in 2019, 2021 and 2022
