JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. –
Logan Graf turned in a top 20 individual performance and Campbell placed ninth in the team standings following Tuesday's final round of the Battle at Briar's Creek.
A red-shirt sophomore from Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Graf finished the 54-hole tournament at 2-under par (71-72-71—214) and tied for 18th individually on the 7117-yard Golf Club at Briar's Creek layout.
One of nine top 100 ranked teams, No. 92 Campbell finished the event 5-over as a team. No. 51 NC State won team honors at 19 under, six strokes in front of host and 35th-ranked Charleston. West Virginia (-11) was third, one shot clear of Elon, Wake Forest and Clemson.
Garrett Risner of Elon, Kian Rose of Clemson and NC State's Michael Vick all finished the event at 7-under par to tie for first place.
Graf was the lone Camel to finish in red numbers.
Joachim Larsen Tegner tied for 34th at 2-over,
Erik Johansson finished T38 at 3-over,
Benjamin Killingstad (T42) was 5-over and
Henric Bjelke (T58) 9-over.
The Camels return to action Feb. 22-23 in the Next Man Up Individual at Lonnie Poole GC in Raleigh.
