BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Gardner-Webb defeated Campbell 7-0 Saturday afternoon at the Webb Tennis Complex.

The Runnin' Bulldogs opened the match by securing the doubles point behind a 6-1 win for Boyd Schreiber and Eduardo Dias over Aleksandar Hudjec and Adi Dagan and a 7-5 victory for Numa Lemeiux-Monette and Kaua Cressoni.

In singles action, Lemiux-Monette defeated Hudjec 6-1, 6-1 while Johan Van Wijk defeated Matias Lofink 6-2, 6-0.

Gardner-Webb's Alex Lepin picked up a 6-3, 6-2 win over Alex Fragasso while Dias defeated Thomas Drapeau 6-2, 6-3. Alexandre Bergeron earned a 6-4, 6-3 win over Dagan while Kim Niethammer bested Luke Tollenaar 6-3, 7-5. 

Campbell returns to action on Monday at Presbyterian.
