BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell fell 4-3 in a hard-fought match against Long Island Tuesday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center. 

Campbell swept all three doubles matches with Thomas Drapeau and Matias Lofink defeating Leon Harder and Philip Hill, 6-2. Luke Tollenaar and Alex Fragasso clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win over Danila Ishchanka and Victor Sjostrom while Adi Dagan and Aleksandar Hudjec claimed a 6-2 win over Ales D'Anna and Lucas Hornung.

Ishchanka put the Sharks on the board in No. 4 singles with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Hudjec. Lofink put the Camels back in front with his 6-2, 6-0 win over Felix Abraham at No. 6 singles. Dagan added another point for CU, taking down Sjostrom 6-3, 6-2.

Long Island answered as D'Anna earned a 6-4, 6-3 win over Fragasso at No. 5 singles while Hilble came back to win 0-6, 6-3, 6-4 over Tollenaar at No. 2 singles. The Sharks clinched the match as Harder defeated Drapeau in No. 1 singles, 3-6, 7-6 (3), 6-0.

Campbell is back in action at the Nisbet Tennis Center on Thursday as it hosts Norfolk State.
