CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Fighting Camels are heading to the College of Charleston this weekend, April 25-27, to play the Cougars in their last away CAA series.
SERIES HISTORY
College of Charleston: Camels lead the series 27-12, with their last meeting being in 2024 and the Camels won all three games of the series.
CAMEL PREVIEW
Campbell won the series this past weekend against Hampton, winning all three games and the first game ended due to the run rule. The Camels fell to Duke on Wednesday night 9-1.
Tyra Parker leads the Camels at the plate with a .416 batting average, compiling 62 hits including one home run (in-the-park), three triples, five doubles, 48 runs and 26 RBIs. There are four other Camels batting over .300 including Parker, Hannah Cornetto (.354), Charlie Montgomery (.331), Madison Ford (.327), and Allyiah Swiney (.306).
Megan Gregory leads the team in the circle with a 1.75 ERA and a 10-3 record. She has pitched 104.0 innings, allowing 26 earned runs and striking out 90.
SCOUTING COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON
College of Charleston is now 24-23 on the season after going 2-3 this past weekend against Hofstra.
The Cougars are coming off a 10-39 2024 season finishing 4-23 in the CAA. Austy Miller leads the Cougars at the plate with a .328 average, compiling 45 hits including four doubles, three triples, two home runs, 21 RBIs and 28 runs. Sierra Paradis leads the team in home runs with three and a .242 batting average.
Mackenzie Mathis leads the Cougars in the circle with a 2.76 ERA over 106.1 innings pitched, allowing 99 hits, 42 earned runs and 91 strikeouts.
