BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Ashleigh Battle and Jasmine Nivar have both joined Campbell's incoming 2025 signing class, announced today by head coach
Ronny Fisher.
"We are excited to welcome Ashleigh Battle and Jasmine Nivar to our Women's Basketball Program!" said Fisher. "They are both high-character, caring young women from great families who will fit perfectly into the culture of our program."
Battle, a 5-foot-2 point guard, will come to Campbell from Eastern Florida State College where the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native was a 2025 FCSAA All-Citrus selection.
"Ashleigh is a dynamic point guard who brings the toughness, speed and defensive intensity that have characterized the run of tremendous point guards we have seen in our program," said Fisher. "She is an experienced player who helped lead Eastern Florida State College to 49 wins over the past two seasons. While she is an unselfish playmaker, she also has the speed and skills to score both at the rim and behind the arc. Most importantly, she competes on every possession, and she will make us better immediately."
Nivar, meanwhile, a 5-foot-10 combo guard, is one of North Carolina's top prospects, earned all-conference honors all four years, averaging 27.4 points, 3.3 assists and 9.4 rebounds per game as a senior on the way to Southern Wake Athletic Conference Player of the Year accolades.
"We are excited to add one of North Carolina's best high school players in Jasmine Nivar," said Fisher. "Jas is from close-by Apex Friendship High School where she had a terrific high school career. Jas is an extremely versatile player who is able to play multiple positions. She can score in bunches and is comfortable at scoring at all three levels. She has the speed and athleticism to shine in transition and has the ability to become a lock-down defender as well. Our style fits her perfectly and she will make an immediate impact on the court."
The pair joins
6-foot-2 forward N'Na Konate (Winston-Salem Christian / Lausanne, Switzerland) in the Camels' incoming signing class.
