BUIES CREEK — A trio of Camels were named All-CAA as announced by the Coastal Athletic Association on Wednesday. The awards were voted on by the league's 12 head coaches.

Abby Connolly becomes just the second Camel to earn second team All-CAA honors while Zahra Fepessi is named third team for the second time in her career. The Camels have placed a player on the All-Rookie team each season since joining the CAA as Laney Heafner gets the nod this season.

Connolly was named second team All-CAA after leading Campbell in points, goals, and assists. The junior was one of four Camels to start all 18 games on the season and played 1,150 minutes. She led the team with 14 points including five goals and four assists. Connolly netted two game winners on the season and led the league with 69 shots while recording a .391 shot-on-goal percentage. She tied her single game high three points with a goal and assist in the Camel's 3-0 win over Northeastern. She collected a point in eight games on the season including three straight (10/11-25).

Fepessi earns back-to-back third team honors and led the Camels backline all season long. She was one of four Camels to start all 18 games on the season. The senior was fourth on the team with six points including three goals. Fepessi was part of the backline that collected seven shutouts on the season and held opponents to 26 goals on the season. She was second on the team with 1,337 minutes played and played a full 90 minutes in four matches.

Heafner becomes the fourth Camel to be named to the all-rookie team. The freshman appeared in all 18 games and made 17 starts on the pitch. She was third on the team with seven points including three goals and an assist. She registered her first collegiate goal against App State before scoring again against Queens and then in the final match of the season against UNCW. Heafner was second on the team with 33 shots including 17 on goal for a .515 shot-on-goal percentage. She played a total of 1,086 minutes.
