Camels begin final road trip at Drexel

PHILADELPHIA - Campbell is set for its final road trip of the season, beginning with a clash at Drexel Thursday night in Philadelphia.

Previous Meeting
Campbell topped Drexel 81-60 on Feb. 5, in what remains the most points the Dragons have allowed in CAA play this season. Dovydas Butka led the effort with a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds. 

The Camels led by three at the half but outscored Drexel 42-24 after the break to pull away for the 21-point win, Campbell's largest in league play.

Scouting The Dragons
Drexel sits at 15-14, 9-7 in the CAA, good for fifth in the standings. The Dragons are coming off back-to-back wins over Northeastern and Towson.

Shane Blakeney paces the offense with 14.2 ppg, the only player averaging double figures, though four others average 8.5 or better. 

Drexel owns the league's top defense in CAA play, allowing only 65 points per game.

Campbell fell in the late stages to UNCW, 73-68. Chris Fields Jr. led the Camels with 17 points, while Smith and Gregory each finished in double figures. Dovydas Butka stuffed the stat sheet with 7 points, 10 rebounds, and a career high 7 assists. 

Looking Ahead
Campbell visits Towson Saturday afternoon for the final road game of the season, and the only meeting between the Camels and Tigers this season. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. in Maryland.
