Smith, Johnson earn all-CAA honors

WASHINGTON, D.C. - DJ Smith was named first-team all-CAA and Jeremiah Johnson earned third-team honors in the 2026 all-CAA postseason awards.

Smith finished as the CAA's fourth leading scorer overall (19.2 ppg) and second in league play (19.7 ppg). Smith surpassed the 20-point mark 16 times, including four 30-point games, all of which came in CAA play. The graduate guard leads the CAA in three-pointers, knocking down 92 on the year.

Smith has scored 595 points this season, good for seventh in a single season in program history.

The North Little Rock, Ark. native is the second Camel in as many seasons to earn first-team honors, following Colby Duggan a year ago.

Jeremiah Johnson ranks 10th in scoring both overall (14.8 ppg) and in league play (16.5 ppg). He also has a 30-point game to his name, pouring in a career-high 32 including a buzzer beater against William & Mary.

Johnson leads the Camels in three-point percentage at 37%, and ranks second in makes with 44.

The Del City, Okla. product is one of only three underclassmen to land on an all-CAA team.

The duo combined for the first pair of teammates to make all-conference teams since 2021, since Cedric Henderson Jr. and Jordan Whitfield both landed on the second team.
