LAST TIME OUT
- Campbell picked up its first series sweep since its swept the three-game set with Valparaiso during the 2024 season by taking all three games against William & Mary this past weekend. The sweep also marks the Camels first conference sweep since joining the CAA three seasons ago.
- The Campbell pitching staff was stellar on the weekend tallying 35 strikeouts, four walks, and holding the Tribe to an .165 batting average. The staff allowed just eight runs on 16 hits in 27.0 innings.
- The Camels outscored the Tribe 23-8 and only trailed for three innings all weekend. Joe Simpson led the offense going 3-for-9 including two runs scored, two runs batted in, and five walks.
- Simpson tied the single game program record with five stolen bases in Sunday's matchup with William & Mary (3/8). The squad swiped a season-high nine bags marking the most since the 2023 season when the Camels stole nine against Tulane.

SIMPSON SWIPES
- Redshirt senior Joe Simpson leads the Camels offense with a .294 batting average including two doubles, five runs scored, and five runs driven in. He leads the squad with 10 stolen bases on the season.
- Simpson tied the single game program record with five stolen bases in Sunday's matchup with William & Mary (3/8).
- The Clinton, Iowa native, has reached base safely in eight straight games and leads the team with four multi-hit performances.
WEEKEND WORK
- The Campbell pitching staff used just eight pitchers on the weekend allowing just eight runs on the weekend.
- Connor Hensley earned his first victory of the season on Friday night against William & Mary. The senior tossed five innings in relief allowing just two hits in the contest and picked up a career-high nine strikeouts. Hensley leads the pitching staff with a 0.00 ERA in 9.2 innings of work. He ties for third on the team with 17 strikeouts in three appearances and is holding opponents to a .189 batting average.
- David Rossow picked up his second win of the season allowing just one run on two hits and picked up a career-high nine strikeouts in five innings of work. He now posts a 4.80 ERA in 15.0 innings pitched.
CAMEL STRONG
- Campbell comes into the season with one of the toughest non-conference strengths of schedule in the country.
- The schedule features seven opponents that went to postseason play last year including College World Series Runner-up Coastal Carolina and Super Regional hosts Duke and North Carolina.
- The Camels will face 12 opponents that finished last season in the top-100 in RPI.
- Campbell will square off against five conference or conference tournament champions from a season ago including Cal Poly, East Carolina Wright State, Coastal Carolina, and North Carolina.
YEAR TWO AT THE HELM
- Chris Marx enters his second season at the helm of Campbell baseball.
- Marx led the Camels with ninth toughest non-conference strength of schedule last season.
- He led the squad to a 25-31 overall record and 15-12 conference record along with the Camels first appearance in the CAA tournament.

- Of the 55 games on the schedule, Campbell will stay in the state of North Carolina for 42 of those games.
