Caleb McAbee joins Camels

BUIES CREEK - Caleb McAbee has committed to Campbell, the first roster addition for new head coach Jimmie Williams.

"I am so excited Caleb is coming with us to Campbell!" Coach Williams said. "He is a winner in every way. Coaching him the last two years has been such a joy. He was the first recruit we signed two years ago, and is the first again. Caleb makes everyone around him better and is a lights out shooter that plays the game with intensity and toughness. He was a huge reason we turned the program and won the regular season and conference tournament  championships this past year. I have no doubt he will help us do the same thing here. He is a great fit for our style of play, and the culture of our team and this campus. Our fans are going to love cheering for him."

McAbee, a 6'1" guard, appeared in all 32 games for Anderson University in 2025-26, averaging 8.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. McAbee shot 42% from beyond the arc knocking down 59 triples on the year.

McAbee scored a season-high 19 points twice, coming in back-to-back games against Tampa and Bob Jones. He came up with a season-high seven boards twice as well.

The Saint John's, Fla. native spent two seasons at Anderson, averaging 5.7 ppg as a true freshman in 2024-25.
