Music tabbed CAA Player of the Week

BUIES CREEK — Sophomore utility Jett Music was tabbed Coastal Athletic Association Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday at noon.

The weekly award marks the sophomore's second weekly award of the season and was also named the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Week back on April 28.

Music put together a huge week at the plate, batting .438 (7-for-16) with four homers, two doubles, and 12 RBI in Campbell's 3-1 week.

The Clayton, N.C. native, became one of eight players nationally with three home runs in a game this season and is the first Camel since Lawson Harrill did on April 23, 2024. He drove in a career-best seven in the win over Charlotte marking the most nice May 15 last season when Darnell Parker Jr. drove in the same against Delaware.

He was 3-for-5 with 3 RBI's in a victory over Gardner-Webb and hit his league-leading 17th homer vs. Bradley on Sunday.

Music (2-1) also picked up the win against Gardner-Webb on Saturday tossing 1.1 innings and picking up three strikeouts.
